Hello there, I'm Patrick Hoffman!

I've always been interested in being behind the camera. In 2019, I was able to do just that!

I am Alaskan Native from the Athabascan tribe. I was born in Anchorage, AK then I floated around the states until 6th grade. In 6th grade I moved into my Grandfathers house. That is where our relationship started to form. In 2019, my Grandfather defeated stage four blood cancer. He asked for recommendations on what he should do next with his life. I recommended he become a social media influencer. After some thought he agreed and we purchased a stage setup for his library. We set it up and started filming people with some social status right away. We began our first interview with my previous principal Teresa Harrison. After that, we interviewed my Mother, Tara Kern, who is strong in addiction recovery. Then after her, we interviewed my Uncle, Dewey Hoffman, who is the head of the scholarship committee at the Doyon Foundation. Our final interview for our first season was with Dr.E.J. David, who is a professor at the University of Anchorage Alaska. I directed/edited everything and used my internal compass to decide what would be right for each session. It's the most fulfilling job I have experienced. I plan to attend Evergreen State College and get a 4-year degree in the Media Arts and Studies program. I'm going to learn how to make my dream a reality. So that I can help other peoples' dreams become realities through video editing.
